Members of the Community Improvement Council will have their Bright at Night safety flashers from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Lake Sumter Landing Market Square (near Panera Bread.)
The Bright at Night program is an on-going program to ensure that residents of The Villages are visible to oncoming vehicular traffic. The flashers have three different light patterns to increase visibility.
Flashers are $3. The money raised is used to purchase new flashers.

The Community Improvement Council (CIC) was organized in 1985 to serve the community as a liaison between the residents, the Developer, and the Community Development Districts (CDDs). The CIC members provide a voice for the ideas and suggestions that are provided by residents of The Villages. Many aspects of The Villages lifestyle are the result of CIC efforts to turn ideas into reality.
