To the Editor:
While driving in my car on El Camino yesterday from Savannah to Freedom Pointe, I came upon five golf carts on the muti modal path. I slowed to drive “even” speeds with them. All five were travelling between 28 and 40 mph and none had LSV tags. All were men with golf clubs in their cart. Perhaps part of the solution is to have a speed trap set up on the golf trails. Just ticketing a few when caught, misses the vast majority of dangerous offenders.
