Shari L. Oulman, 41, of Fruitland Park, FL, entered her heavenly home on March 18, 2017. She was born in Sarasota, FL on May 1, 1975 and moved to Fruitland Park in 1991 with her parents, Rev. George and Kathy (Waddell) Mulford. She graduated from Leesburg High School in 1993 and was married in October of that same year to her loving husband, Lance Oulman. After marriage, Shari attended Polk State College in Lakeland, FL, where she and Lance lived, receiving two associate degrees. In November, 1997, God blessed Shari and Lance with a daughter, Sarah Oulman, whom Shari called “my sunshine.” Shari was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She is remembered by her family and friends as a woman of great faith, courage and determination. She brought joy to everyone she met by her glowing personality and contagious smile. She was a member of Grace Bible Baptist Church of Leesburg, FL. Shari is survived by her husband, Lance Oulman; her daughter, Sarah Oulman; her brothers, Shannon (Tonya) Mulford, Stephen Mulford, and Seth (Jennifer) Mulford; her parents, Rev. George and Kathy Mulford; her husband’s parents, Jim and Sandi Oulman; her grandparents, William and Phyllis Waddell; and by many nieces, nephews and loving family members.
A celebration of Shari’s life will be held on Thursday, March 23 at 7 p.m. at Grace Bible Baptist Church, 1703 Lewis Rd, Leesburg, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sarah Oulman’s College Education Fund.
