The Villages Regional Hospital has new chief clinical officer

Central Florida Health has announced that Michael Pittman is the new chief clinical officer and site administrator for The Villages Regional Hospital.

Pittman comes to Central Florida Health from Baylor Scott & White Healthcare in Brenham, Texas, where he served as hospital administrator, chief operations officer and chief nursing officer. During his time there, he successfully led a number of mission-critical initiatives involving accreditation, financial performance, quality and patient experience.

Pittman has more than 13 years of healthcare leadership experience. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Registered Nurse credentials from Regents College. Additionally, he is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

“I am blessed to be able to be a part of such a great organization and look forward to the opportunity to continue to raise the bar for excellence at The Villages Regional Hospital,” Pittman said. “Our primary focus is always our patients and we are committed to providing the highest quality healthcare in our region by focusing on patient safety and outstanding clinical outcomes.”
