A 24-year-old woman arrested in February at Wal-Mart at Buffalo Ridge Plaza has landed back behind bars.

Denise Renea Yarber of Wildwood was booked Friday at the Sumter County Detention Center on a warrant charging her with failure to appear. She was being held without bond.

Yarber had been arrested Feb. 3 on charges of petit theft and possession of drug equipment after she allegedly had taken some clothes and sandals and concealed them in a Wal-Mart bag with some diapers and tried to leave the store through the garden section. When the deputy conducted a search of Yarber’s book bag, he discovered a hypodermic syringe and a broken teaspoon.
