WW2 History Club offers pair of concerts to support Villages Honor Flight

Every year the WW2 History Club sponsors a fund raiser for Villages Honor Flight in the form of a live band concert of World War II music.

This year there will be two performances each starting at 6 p.m. and ending a little after 8 p.m. The March 23 performance will be held at Eisenhower Recreation Center and the March 30 performance will be held at SeaBreeze Recreation Center.

The Music Mixx and Savoy Bands will be performing many of the songs from the Big Band Era and World War II.

The WW2 History Club’s overall goal for 2016 is to fund a complete flight (35 vets).

These concerts are held at Villages recreation centers and are, thus, limited to Villages residents and guests.
