Five applicants seek appointment to supervisor vacancies in CDD 6

Five applicants have stepped forward for consideration for appointment to the two vacant supervisor seats in Community Development District 6.

The vacancies were created last month when Supervisors Joyce Edmonds and Donna Kempa resigned because each was moving out of the district.

The applicants thus far are:

George Brackx

Thomas Griffith

Linda Grzesik

James Nelson

John Barlow Jr.

Applications continue to be accepted for the vacancies.
Applications must be submitted to the District Clerk no later than 5 p.m. Jan. 28 at the District Office, 984 Old Mill Run, The Villages.
CDD 6 supervisors will interview applicants at a special meeting to be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 5 in the District Office Board Room, 984 Old Mill Run in Lake Sumter Landing.
