Karola M. Salvino, 78, died on February 1, 2016 at The Villages Hospice House. She was born in Augsburg, Germany on June 13, 1937 to Walter and Carola Stamer. She moved to The Villages in 1991 with her husband and spent her retirement years dancing, golfing, volunteering and enjoying life to the fullest while lighting up the world for those around her.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 62 years, Dominic, her daughter, Lola (Sausser), her son, Frank, and her granddaughter, Jasmine.
To celebrate her life, a memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on February 12, 2016 at the Hope Lutheran Church, 250 Avenida Los Angelos, The Villages, FL 32162. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Ave., Bushnell, FL 33513. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to The Villages Hospice House.
