Woman arrested at clubhouse at Continental Country Club after alleged altercation with another woman

A 54-year-old woman was arrested after she was tracked down at the clubhouse at Continental Country Club after an alleged dispute with another resident,

according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. Lee allegedly approached the woman and began screaming at her. The woman said she feared Lee would hit her, according to the report. The woman pushed back against Lee who then fell and hit a grill on the woman’s carport. Lee then took a box from her golf cart and threw it at the woman, striking her in the eye. Lee left and the woman called law enforcement. Deputies went to Lee’s home and did not find her. They later located her at the clubhouse.

She was arrested on a charge of battery and booked at the Sumter County Detention Center. She was released after posting $1,000 bond.
