Irrigation main break forces closure of portion of multi-modal path

Due to an irrigation main break, the multi-modal path on Buena Vista Boulevard between St. Charles Place and Bailey Trail was shut down Thursday.
It is expected to re-open on Friday.
Golf carts are asked to follow all detour signs to Canal Street.  One southbound lane on Buena Vista Boulevard will also be closed to vehicular traffic during this time.
“It is unknown at this time how long the repair will take, however we anticipate that it should be completed sometime on Friday,” according to the District Office.
