Law enforcement seeking vehicle that struck and killed man walking bicycle in Lake County

The Florida Highway Patrol is seeking the public’s help in the search for a vehicle which struck and killed a man who had been walking a bicycle along a roadway in Lake County.
Antwan Bailey, 31, of Umatilla had been walking the bicycle northbound at 6:40 p.m. Thursday on County Road 452 when he was struck by a SUV driven by Jennifer Mendoza, 41, of Sorrento, according to an accident report from the Florida Highway Patrol. She had been attempting to pass a truck when her vehicle struck Bailey and knocked him to the ground. A second vehicle ran over Bailey and fled the scene.
He was pronounced dead by the Medical Examiner.
FHP is seeking a smaller red passenger vehicle with possible front undercarriage damage.
