CIC will be offering safety flashers at Lake Sumter Landing

Bright at Night flashers will be available Thursday evening at Lake Sumter Landing.
The Community Improvement Council will be offering safety flashers Tuesday at Lake Sumter Landing.

The Community Improvement Council will be offering safety flashers Tuesday, Feb. 14 at Lake Sumter Landing Market Square.

Members of the CIC will be there from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m.

The CIC asks for a $5 donation for each safety flasher and lanyard. Three dollars of the money is used to buy another flasher and lanyard, and the extra $2 is put in a fund for the other projects that the CIC is implementing to improve the lifestyle of Villages residents. Thus far, the group has purchased a wheelchair for each Villages Recreation Center, and to date, the CIC has put a wheelchair in each regional recreation center and two Village recreation centers.  The CIC has also provided a wheelchair for each of the three town squares.

For more information about the Community Improvement Council (CIC),  visit www.villagescic.org.

If you or your group is interested in purchasing a large number of the safety flashers, send an email to:   BrightatNight@villagescic.org.
