Kelly D. Taylor

Kelly D. Taylor, 53, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 11, 2017 in Leesburg, FL, where he resided with his wife, Wendy (Orcutt) Taylor.

Kelly was born in Chicago, IL and grew up in Kalamazoo, MI graduating from Kalamazoo Central High School in 1982. Kelly’s daughters established a permanent memorial website at www.forevermissed.com/kellytaylor.

Kelly loved to gather with family and friends, laugh, share stories, and had a deep love of puns. The family asks friends to share their stories of Kelly to the memorial website in an effort to share love and comfort one another.

Kelly was deeply loved and is survived by his wife, Wendy; two daughters, Lyndsey (Brian) Moore and Brittany Meyers of Indianapolis, IN; one grandchild, Beckett William. He is also survived by his parents, Sara Taylor of Kalamazoo, MI and Larry (Barbara) Taylor of Melbourne, FL; two siblings, Joey Taylor of Venice, FL and Elizabeth Taylor of Kalamazoo, MI; two nephews, Zac Taylor of Leeds, UK, and Cody Taylor of Fairbanks, AK; two nieces, Alison Zentmyer and Casey Crawford of Kalamazoo, MI and numerous extended family members.

There are three Celebration of Life gatherings planned: FLORIDA – Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017, at Real Life Christian Church, Mount Dora, at 1 p.m. MICHIGAN – Saturday, Nov. 25, at North Athens Baptist Church, Athens, MI, at 1 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 26, at VFW Red Arrow Post 1527, 1920 E. Kilgore Service Rd, Kalamazoo, MI, at 1 p.m.
