Man arrested after unwelcome visit to Peppertree Apartments in Wildwood

Justin Ellenburg

A 35-year-old man was arrested after he returned to his home at the Peppertree Apartments in Wildwood in defiance of a court order.

Justin Lee Ellenburg went to the apartment Tuesday evening despite an injunction obtained by a woman who has shared the apartment with him in the past, according to an arrest report from the Wildwood Police Department.

Ellenburg still had a key to the apartment and used it to gain entry. A security chain was in place on the door, but he broke it.

He was arrested on a charge of contempt of court and booked at the Sumter County Detention Center where he was initially being held without bond.
