Lake County man dies after motorcycle leaves roadway, strikes guardrail

A Lake County man died after his motorcycle left the roadway and struck a guardrail early Sunday morning on County Road 46-A.

Tom Williams, 36, of Eustis, had been riding a 2014 Yamaha motorcycle at 1:15 a.m. at County Road 46-A and Red Tail Boulevard when the accident occurred, according to an accident report from the Florida Highway Patrol.

He was pronounced dead by the Medical Examiner’s office.

The crash remains under investigation.
