A Villager has been arrested in the theft of golf clubs from the Golf Academy at Palmer Legends Country Club.

Ted Spenser Sprinkman, 65, of the Village of Orange Blossom Gardens, was arrested at 2:14 p.m. Wednesday at the country club. The previous day, he had been captured on video surveillance removing a set of eight Callaway Steelhead XR golf clubs from the academy, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.
