Sumter County tax increase

To the Editor:

Thank you, Mr. Stan Galperin, for your informative letter. Three seats will be coming up for new commissioners in Sumter County we have to be very careful who we vote in.
We need commissioners who care about The Villages, not ones that are in the Developer’s pockets.
I have been here 16 years and the growth here is disgusting, they care about money  and nothing more. We need to be diligent about who we vote in from now on. Background checks need to be performed more than once. Open your eyes.
