Christmas tree lighting at the squares

To the Editor:

Having just celebrated Thanksgiving, we have so much to be thankful for. Living in The Villages is certainly a blessing for most. The Christmas Tree Lighting is for everyone. Just because there is a tent placed for those who want to have a place reserved, does not eliminate anyone from going to the squares and enjoying the seasonal moments and the entertainment that evening!
Everything in life is not free, but we do have options. The Villages is taking nothing away from The Villagers, just offering something new to those who wish to participate. Enjoy sitting around the square, standing around the square, getting a beverage at the Bar set up on the square and stop getting yourself “all stirred up”!  ‘Tis the season to be jolly and thankful for what we have been blessed with.
