Resident who played every hole in Minnesota gets hole-in-one in The Villages

Dick Montroy, of the Village of Silver Lake, finally got his very first hole-in-one March 25 at the 132-yard Hole #4 on the El Diablo Executive Golf Course. He used an 8 iron.

Prior to this, Montroy played every hole on every golf course in his home state of Minnesota (583 courses) over a 50-year period. He completed that quest July 21, 2018. He has golfed on 111 courses scattered across the country. In addition he has played every hole on every one of the 63 Villages courses (27 hole championships count as 2 courses, a 9 and an 18.)
