The building, designed by KP Studio Architects of Ocala, sits on 2.5 acres in the Buffalo Ridge area. It has been in the planning stages for more than two years and construction has been ongoing for almost a year. It boasts the latest in technology and includes a 12 ft. tall by 34 ft. wide projection screen, which is an important component of the firm’s proprietary ShareLife® multi-sensory technology platform.
“Our objective is to offer relaxed surroundings and inviting décor in every room of the Life Event Center to make our guests as comfortable as possible when they are here for an event,” said Lisa High, the location manager of the facility. “We want people coming back to us to hold every meaningful family celebration in our facility, including weddings, parties, reunions and receptions.”
An open house and ribbon cutting ceremony is planned for May 20. Tours showcasing the features of each room within the facility will be offered as well as food and entertainment.
