Mr. Eugene K. Garrison, 90, of The Villages, passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at his residence. A native of Peoria, Illinois, he moved to this area in 1990, coming here from Peoria. He was retired from the Caterpillar Corporation, and proudly served his country in the US AirCorps. He was a member of Grace Chapel in The Villages. He is survived by his wife, Edith J. Garrison; daughters Deborah L. Kuhn of Ocala, and Janet Lee Gray, Aurora, IL; son Terry G. Garrison, Ocala, 9 grand children, and 11 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 2-3 PM Sunday, December 8, with funeral services beginning at 3 PM at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, The Villages. Private family interment services will be held at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
