Helicopter, bloodhounds join in search for missing student in Leesburg

UPDATE:  Saige Blum has been located in Orange County. Her parents were on their way Tuesday morning to pick her up.

A helicopter and bloodhounds joined in the search for a student who went missing after school Monday in Leesburg.

Fourteen-year-old Saige S. Blum failed to return home after school at Oak Park Middle School, and there are additional concerns due to medical issues. 

Leesburg police are continuing the search, with assistance from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office aviation and bloodhound units.

Saige is 5 feet, 2 inches tall, and weighs 120 pounds. She wears glasses and has black curly hair. Saige was last seen walking south on Lone Oak Drive near the area of Edgewood Avenue.

She was wearing dark jeans, white/pink Nike shoes, burgundy Aeropostale sweater, and carrying a black backpack.
