Do not punish the residents with an assessment!

To the Editor:

Why should any assessment be made on any Villages resident? This road belongs to the city, county, state. The road is used not as a private road for residents only, but by everyone living in and out of The Villages. The businesses that derive an income need to pay a fair share. The Developer, who made millions, should pay a fair share. The government should pay a fair share. Police, fire, inspectors all use it. Do not punish the residents with an assessment!
It is time for all residents to stand up and fight for what is right!
