Trump’s behavior stunning, chilling, outrageous

To the Editor:

Stunning. Chilling. Outrageous. The President of the United States just walked away from our rule of law disavowing our own intelligence agencies and sided with an adversary and dictator. Putin is a brutal authoritarian who leads a country where political dissidents are murdered and poisoned. Twelve have just been indicted for meddling in our electoral system. To believe in truth, democracy, justice, human rights and plain old decency, is to disapprove of Putin.
Trump’s hate for the USA, hate for our allies and hate for our democracy and his sycophantic relationship with Putin is highly consequential and borders on treason. Now, the question is, what will Republicans do? Is there no way to eliminate the dangers that an unfit president poses? Simple, don’t elect one and better yet, don’t re-elect THIS one. I would like to add one more thing. Mr. Trump, stop putting your country down. We were fine before you and we will survive after you. If you are so unhappy here, leave. You must have enough money to settle anywhere you haven’t alienated.
