Put needs of our fellow Americans over those of illegals

To the Editor:

A recent letter from a person in Santiago was quite wrong. In reply, Our President does not call himself the President, he was elected and is in office legally, unlike our prior one who was not legally eligible to be President.
He is not a charlatan! He is not a hate monger. It does not matter who the illegals are, men, women or children, they are coming into our country ILLEGALLY! They are not coming in as did our parents, grandparents etc. Many are bringing drugs and sickness with them. I have no issue with LEGAL entry, but do not support what is going on with the illegals.
How can anyone want to support our tax dollars going to support illegals? How come we have seniors, veterans living on the streets because they cannot afford anything else? Why give housing, medical and money to the illegals?
Wake up people, we are on the road to socialism and it will be our downfall. This is not about anything but the survival of our country. Put the USA first. Put our veterans first over illegals. Put our children and seniors first over illegals. God Bless our president, the USA and our troops.
