Arthur Drews

Arthur (Bing) William Drews, 82, Lady Lake, FL went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 12, 2019. Bing had a history of heart and medical complications. He passed suddenly from a heart attack.

Bing was born on December 2, 1936 in Danville Illinois. He was the son of Arthur Harold William Drews Sr, and Nellie Hurst; and brother of Terry Drews, Danville, IL. Bing attended Danville High school. He married Beverly Welker on June 17, 1956. Bing was a Contract Administrator at Danville Metal Stamping, where he worked many years until he retired.

Bing is survived by his wife, Beverly Drews of Lady Lake, Florida, daughter and son in law, Lisa and Delvin Soto, grandsons, Brayden and Alex Soto, of Leesburg, FL, and granddaughters, Meghann and Isabella DeLoach of Brandon, FL. He is preceded in death by his father, mother, and brother.

Bing was a loving and devoted father, husband, grandpa, and friend. He loved to play golf, watch sports, play jokes on everyone, and eat sweets.

A memorial luncheon will be held in honor of Bing, on Saturday, May 18, 2019.
