An Open Letter to Debbie Wasserman Shultz

An Open Letter to Debbie Wasserman Shultz

I am ashamed to know that you are a Democrat that is supposed to be representing my state of Florida and going against everything that democratic principals stand for. You just said that the super-delegates were there to keep grass-roots activists from being elected, regardless of the voters’ will. You just said that all the power is in the hands of the establishment, and you have reversed the regulation allowing lobbyists and super pacs to donate unlimited funds, so why should anyone bother to vote? You just took away their ability to bring about change. Shame on you. I am a 77 year old widow, retired educator with multiple college degrees and many years in the classroom. I have always been proud to be an American living in a democracy, but you have just changed my thoughts on that. It really is only the money and I thought that Democrats differed from Republicans in that regard. I am both angry and hurt.
