Edward ‘Ed’ William Renaud

Edward “Ed” William Renaud, Sr, age 93, of Summerfield, FL, passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2016. He was born in Hudson Falls, NY on June 7, 1923. Ed served in the US Army during WWII in Germany with Patton’s Third Army. After his military service Ed returned to New York where he married Peg Boyle. They were married for 70 years. He was a Labor Foreman in commercial construction and member of Laborers Local Union. He enjoyed deer hunting, competition shooting, motor cycles, snow mobiles and golfing.

He is survived by his wife Peg; daughter Peggy Farrell and her husband Jay of Summerfield, FL; 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Edward William Renaud, Jr.

A committal service with military honors will take place at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL on Friday, September 2, 2016 at 11:30 a.m.
