Italian Paisans Club books impressive lineup of talent for 2017

The Italian Paisans Club prides itself on booking big-name entertainment in The Villages and will do so again early in 2017.
“We try our best to bring in the best entertainers we can,” said Jerry Vicenti, president of the club. Each year the club hosts a series of concerts at the SeaBreeze Regional Recreation Center.

The Bronx Wanderers, who have sold out Savannah Center for the past two years, will headline the March 19 show.
Vinny “Yo Vinny” Adinolfi, leads the band with his sons Nicky and Vinny. The Wanderers play everything from Dion to Led Zeppelin to Bruno Mars. They offer a high-energy show with hard rocking sounds and tight harmony.
Tommy Mara and the Crests will headline the Feb. 19 show.  Mara took over singing with the Crests from his close friend, the late, great Johnny Maestro.

Mara has long been a Villages’ favorite, often appearing with Rocky and the Rollers. Mara and the Crests will perform some of the group’s biggest hits, including, “16 Candles,” “Step By Step” and “Trouble in Paradise.”
The other act for the Paisans is Voice Play, and the group will appear on Jan. 19. Voice Play is a 5-member a cappella group that appeared on NBC’s “The Sing Off.” Opening the concert will be Villages’ favorites Mary Jo Vitale and Dawn DiNome.
Concerts are open to club members only. For more information go to:www.theitalianpaisansclub.com
