Vernon A. ‘Buddy’ Tomlin

Vernon A. “Buddy” Tomlin, 83, of Leesburg, Florida, and a longtime resident of Pennsville, New Jersey, passed away on October 1, 2018 surrounded by his loving family.

Buddy enjoyed his visits with his sister, Berta and husband Howard. He enjoyed reminiscing with Howard as they sat on our lanai. Buddy served in the Marines after high school and worked for E.I. Dupont for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth; children, Vernon, Vicky and Julie and three grandchildren. He is also survived by his step-daughter, Denise McCracken (Joe) and two step grandchildren. He also leaves his brother David Tomlin (Phylis) and sister Berta Lockwood (Howard).

A committal service and burial with full military honors will be held on Monday, October 8, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
