Former GOP Party chair, now MSNBC analyst to speak next month at Savannah Center

A former Republican Party chairman who is now a MSNBC analyst will speak next month at Savannah Center.
Michael Steele will speak at 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14 at the third anniversary of the Grace African Methodist Episcopal Church.
Steele has been a MSNBC political analyst since 2011. Steele served as the first African-American chairperson of the Republican National Committee from January 2009 until January 2011. From 2003 to 2007, he was the seventh lieutenant governor of Maryland, the first African American elected to statewide office in Maryland. During his time as lieutenant governor, he chaired the Minority Business Enterprise task force, actively promoting an expansion of affirmative action in the corporate world.
A donation of $100 is being sought to attend the event.
