A 33-year-old woman was arrested at Beall’s after she allegedly stole clothes for her children.

Georgianna Lang Antich of Belleview is alleged to have taken items without paying for them at about 12:15 p.m. Tuesday from the store at 13687 U.S. 441.

She went to her vehicle and then re-entered the store where she was detained by the store’s loss prevention officer, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.

When interviewed by a deputy, Antich said she had wanted to get “something nice” for her children, the arrest report indicated.

The items taken were valued at $163.29.

She was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center where bond was set at $500.
