Letter to the Editor: Gov. Scott’s Veteran Ceremony

To the Editor:

Would it be asking too much for people to show proper respect and dress appropriately for a presentation of a medal honoring their service to our country? Apparently the casual lifestyle has the best of some as the dress at today’s ceremony was just plain disgusting, ranging from sloppy t-shirts and shorts and dirty clothes to wearing their hats during the actual medal presentations! Gov. Scott’s presentation was precise and inspiring for me and unfortunately tainted when these folks don’t seem to get the message that there is a time and place to present themselves in a respectable manner. You know who you are and shame on you for your disrespect!
