A man found naked at a home in September in the Village of Mallory Square, has been sentenced to jail time on drug charges.

Kevin Lynn Bailey, who was 19 at the time of his arrest on Sept. 28, was escorted by Sumter County sheriff’s deputies to his bedroom to get dressed. Deputies had received information from the National Crime Information Center that Bailey was located at a home on Monetta Lane. When they entered his bedroom, a bag containing three grams of marijuana was spotted in plain sight. Also spotted was a pipe used for smoking marijuana.

On Nov. 10 in Sumter County Court, Bailey entered a plea of no contest to charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was sentenced to four months in jail and his driver’s license will be suspended for one year.
