A broken taillight led to the arrest of a 19-year-old who was driving on a suspended license Tuesday night in Wildwood.
Mikari Deon Harrison of Wildwood was pulled over at 11:25 p.m. at U.S. 301 and Clarke Street when a Sumter County sheriff’s deputy spotted the broken taillight. The deputy found that Harrison’s license had been suspended as of Oct. 5 for failure to pay a traffic fine.
He was arrested on a charge of driving while license suspended and issued a warning for the equipment violation.
He was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center on $500 bond. He was released Wednesday afternoon after posting bond.
