The Day-Break Club of The Villages recognizes an outstanding individual every month.

For April, Kathy Peters of The Village of Fernandina was chosen for outstanding efforts and Rich Abrams of Village of Sanibel did the honors.

The club is offered on Tuesday afternoons at Odell Recreation Center. It creates a place where caregivers can leave their special needs charges while they enjoy a little respite time. The Day-Break Club offers high-energy entertainment for those who attend.
