A Cane Garden Country Club employee has been arrested in the theft of pain medication.
Tonya Lisa Flowers, 38, who works at the country club located on Bailey Trail in The Villages, is facing multiple charges of assault and a charge of robbery, following her arrest along with her alleged partner in crime Wednesday at the Circle K at Southern Trace in The Villages.
Flowers and 38-year-old Shannon Marie Pinkston allegedly went Tuesday night to a camper trailer in Bushnell where the victim has been living. The women had knowledge that the resident of the camper trailer had been prescribed powerful pain medication, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. The women reportedly threatened her with a stun gun. The women took 83 Hydromorphone pills and 28 tablets of Methadone.
Flowers was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center on $30,000 bond. Pinkston’s bond was set at $20,500
