Dustin Lee Rhoton

A fisherman with drugs in his tackle box was arrested at the boat ramp at Lake Deaton.

A Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission officer summoned Wildwood police to the boat ramp at about 7 p.m. Wednesday, where 35-year-old Dustin Lee Rhoton of Surgoinsville, Tenn. was found to have acetaminophen and oxycodone hydrochloride pills, as well as marijuana cigarettes, in his tackle box. He did not have a valid prescription for the pills.

During a search, more pills were found in the pocket of the shorts Rhoton was wearing.

Rhoton has a long history of drug arrests.

He was taken into custody on a felony charge of drug possession and a misdemeanor charge of marijuana possession.

He was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center on $3,000 bond.
