Joseph Emonds

Joseph Alan Emonds, 83, of The Villages, FL passed away on 16 May, 2019 in his home.

He was a proud veteran of the US Air Force. He enjoyed flying, golfing, traveling, and creating stained glass art.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Cuc Thi Phan Emonds; daughter Marie (Barbara) Emonds of Bay County, MI; daughter Linda (Gilbert) Camirand of Sterling, CT; son Joseph Scott (Tiffany) Emonds of Millville, NJ; grandchildren Craig, Alexandriya, Samantha, Brandon, Bryan, and Benskylor; his sister Louise Mancus of Caldwell, Idaho; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He is preceded in death by his first wife, A. Marlene Emonds, sisters Alice Taylor, Dorothy Hannah, and Harriet Slavoff, and brother Louis Emonds.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, May 21 at Beyers Funeral Home, Lady Lake, FL, from 10-11 am, followed by a funeral service at 11 am. Interment will follow at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, at 1 pm with full military honors.
