Developer only cares about The Villages south of State Road 44

To the Editor:

I don’t understand the decision to close Katie Belle’s. Many residents enjoy going there for dinner and dancing. There are organizations that plan luncheons, birthdays and other events to celebrate.
No one is giving any reasons to close this famous restaurant. Many go there to dance or see a good show.
Slowly the Developer is getting rid of places that they consider no longer needed! All his attention is being placed south of State Road 44 where he continues to build and attract new owners. The rest of The Villages is forgotten. It is a sad situation.
