This past week, I met with US Army MSG (Ret), David Booth, president/CEO of Combat Veterans to Careers (CVC) at their thrift store, Restoring Hope in Wildwood.
David shared with me the great work they are engaged with that has helped countless veterans and their families. The mission of CVC is to provide support to enhance quality of life for combat veterans and their families with the goal of providing resources for veterans who are ready for a rewarding, life-long career by giving them the tools necessary for success. When a veteran reaches out to CVC, they work with them on four main areas: education, employment, housing, and wellness.
By partnering with local communities, organizations and businesses, they work to ensure that the men and women who have valiantly defended the freedoms we enjoy receive the support they need to achieve the civilian life they deserve.
Thank you David Booth, and your many volunteers for your work serving the heroes in our community. We owe our veterans a debt we can never repay.
