Man with stolen Bluetooth speaker falls in Wal-Mart parking lot after being chased by store employee

A man with a stolen Bluetooth speaker fell in the parking lot of the Wal-Mart in Summerfield while being chased Monday by the store’s loss prevention officer.

The man, who had previously been banned from the store, was spotted at about 8:30 a.m. by the store’s loss prevention officer. When the man left the store with the Bluetooth speaker and was subsequently being chased, he fell in front of the garden department, according to an incident report from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office. When he fell, he dropped the Bluetooth speaker, the report indicated.

He got up and was able to get away.
