Constance J. Grantham

Constance J. Grantham (Connie), 75, of The Villages, FL, passed away on 13 October, 2017, at The Villages Regional Hospital due to complications of lung cancer. Born November 21, 1941 in Dayton, OH to Natalie (Barton) Heck and Joseph Heck.

She was a 1959 graduate of St. Joseph’s High School. She enjoyed a long career in business development and administration in the aerospace and defense industry working with Lear Siegler Inc (LSI), Litton Systems, and Williams International. She also worked at Upper Valley Medical Center, and volunteered with Hospice of Dayton.

Connie is survived by her husband of 27 years, Warren (Wally) Grantham, her beloved children, T. Mark Tangeman, Tania Tangeman Grant, son-in- law Wayne Grant, and her treasured granddaughters, Nicole Michelle Niehoff and Darby Rochelle Grant.

Living most of her life in Dayton, Ohio she and Wally relocated and became permanent residents of the Sabal Chase Community of The Villages, FL in 2006.

A celebration of her life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 28th at the Lake Miona Regional Rec Ctr, 1526 Buena Vista Blvd, The Villages, FL 32162 (352) 430-2950. Please join her family for lunch following remembrances and sharing the stories of her life.

An additional celebration will be held in Dayton, Ohio in her favorite season of spring when the forsythia and lilacs are in bloom.
