Villager arrested after domestic disturbance involving two women in Village of Del Mar

A Villager was arrested after a domestic disturbance involving two women in the Village of Del Mar.

Lady Lake police were called at 10:54 p.m. Saturday to a residence at 711 Bolivar St.  A woman who said she has been in a dating relationship for 10 years with 50-year-old Jeffrey Scott Riffe alleged that he had attacked her and her daughter after an argument, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department.

After the altercation, Riffe left the residence in his silver Toyota Camry. He was stopped by police a short time later in the 900 block of Del Mar Drive. He was arrested on two counts of battery and booked at the Lake County Jail. Bond was set at $1,000.
