Gertrude M. Petty

Gertrude M. Petty, 92 of Leesburg, FL, passed away October 23, 2017. She was born February 20, 1925 in Branford, FL to John Lee and Molly Sumner. Mrs. Petty was a longtime resident of Leesburg and was a Christian by faith.

Survivors include: children Jerry L. (Carol) Engle of Leesburg; Donna G. (Ron) Collison of Leesburg and Paula M. Pate of Fruitland Park; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and other living extended family. She was preceded in death by her 6 siblings.

A visitation will be held in the Chapel of Beyers Funeral Home, Leesburg on Saturday October 28, 2017 from 12 – 1 p.m. with a Funeral Service to follow beginning at 1 p.m. A Committal Service will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Leesburg, where she will be laid to rest.
