Police called after couple gets into jealousy-fueled fight at Gator’s Dockside

Lady Lake police were called after a couple got into a jealousy-fueled fight that began at Gator’s Dockside at Spanish Springs Town Square.

A 33-year-old woman said she and her boyfriend of three months had been at Gator’s Dockside on Aug. 19 when they ran into her ex-boyfriend, according to an incident report from the Lady Lake Police Department.

On their way back to her residence at Oak Leaf Apartment Homes on County Road 466, the 26-year-old boyfriend left her by the side of the road. He returned and pushed her to the ground and spit on her. She got up and punched him in the face. He then left the scene.

Police tried to reach the boyfriend by phone, but were unsuccessful. The woman was advised to contact police if he showed up at her apartment.
