Villages HR head resigns seat on utility district board

Fred Gibbons has resigned his seat on the North Sumter County Utility Dependent District.

Gibbons, head of Compass HRM, cited time constraints as the reason for his resignation.

Compass is a human resource management company serving The Villages.

Filling Gibbons’ seat will be up to the Sumter County Board of Commissioners.

The North Sumter County Utility Dependent District serves Districts 5, 6, 7 and 8 in Sumter County.
