Wrong things going on with both political parties

To the Editor:

I want to thank Robert Corkern for his letter on July 3rd. He hit the nail on the head about the wrong things going on with both political parties.
I have voted in every election since I was 18 years old. I have never felt so much division. I would vote for the best candidate, no matter the party.
I always thought that there should be another “independent” party. They all should be working on: Balancing the budget, making laws that benefit the people, taxing the population less so that people can easily live on a moderate income, and move the country forward with innovations, like green technology that helps to positively affect the environment.
