Steven James Sandidge

Steven James Sandidge, age 74, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio and The Villages, Florida, passed away July 9th at the Cates Hospice House in Ocala, Florida. Steve was born on December 16, 1948, to Richard and Violet Sandidge in Columbus, Ohio. He retired from FritoLay and continued to work for Cardinal Freight and the New Albany School district. His passion was volunteering his time with Joseph’s Coat and the Ronald McDonald house in Columbus, Ohio for many years. He loved to go on cruises and traveled to many countries in Europe, South America, and the Panama Canal.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years Nancy (Osborn) Sandidge; daughter, Lauren ( Placido) Flores and was to become a Grandfather this August. Other surviving relatives include his aunt, Margie Holzer; many nieces, nephews, cousins and a wealth of wonderful friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Susan Randazzo.

A celebration of life will be held at St. Pius Catholic Church in Reynoldsburg, Ohio at a later date in August. The family would like to thank Hampton Manor assisted living/memory care facility and the Cates Hospice House for the care and love he received. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Steve’s name may be made to Hospice of Marion County Florida, the Ronald McDonald house in Columbus, Ohio or a charity of your choice.
