Letter to the Editor: Turn signals

To the Editor:

May I suggest the following as a cure for drivers who will not use their turn signals. As our police will not do anything about drivers who do not signal a turn, then we should do the following: When we see a driver making a turn without signaling, honk your horn at them. If enough of us do this, and the offending driver becomes aware of why we are honking at them, perhaps they will get the message and start to use their turn signals. At least we are doing something to solve this accident causing behavior.
